Football

The STARS Football Program competes in the Skyway Yellow District and will be in Section 5AAAA for the 2023 and 2024 school years.  

The team won the District in 2020, 2021, and 2022. The team has also advanced to the state tournament in 2020, 2021, and 2022. In 2021, AHA Running Back Emmett Johnson was named Mr. Football. The STARS finished runner-up in the Skyway Yellow District and Section 5AAAA in 2023. AHA had 9 players that earned All-District recognition in 2023. 

The STARS earned key victories over Benilde-St. Margaret's, DeLaSalle, and SMB this year. 

AHA typically offers two levels - Varsity and C. They usually practice after school in the StarDome or SW turfed fields.
